Sapient Insight discovers
actionable insights through
Digitised Human Networks
Sapient offers our clients access to the power of digitised human networks and market-leading analytical software, without having to commit to lengthy subscriptions or hire and train specialist staff.
Finding the latest digital tool or well-placed, trusted contact who can unlock an intractable issue can be time consuming and expensive. Sapient constantly vets and onboards human networks with unique access to opaque and high-risk issues to ensure client insights benefit from expert human perspective. Sapient also constantly trial and use best-in-class analytical SaaS to ensure digital investigations take advantage of world-class software.
Sapient places security and discretion at the centre of its business. To achieve this, Sapient employs the same standard of digital and physical security its Founders practised in the public and security sector. This is reflected in Sapient’s due diligence around the SaaS platforms it uses, its management and storage of data and physical security practices related to the use of human networks in non-permissive locations. In addition, Sapient Insight is undergoing preparation for certification to ISO/IEC 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus.
An insight is more than information; more information does not automatically lead to a better insight. For an insight to be actionable, information must fulfil three criteria: it causes a change in how we perceive an issue (we understand why something has occurred, not just that it has occurred), the information is novel and not simply a representation of previously known information, and the information aligns with an issue we care about, i.e. our interests. When an insight is achieved by fulfilling these criteria, it offers a solid basis for action with the highest possible chance of achieving positive change because we understand the nature of the issue, not merely its symptoms.
To discover information and formulate actionable insight for our clients, Sapient employs a toolbox of solutions. Initially, Sapient conducts an information requirement discovery session. This helps both Sapient and clients to identify the core of an issue and the corresponding information types which are likely to lead to an actionable insight. Then Sapient selects appropriate tools from a suite of market-leading analytical software, which we are constantly updating. Sapient also consults their global networks of contacts close to issues our clients care about, enabled by proprietary technology, who report back to us, securely and immediately. This mix of digital and human information systems offers Sapient the best possibility of discovering relevant information, fusing it in the context of the bespoke information requirement and delivering actionable insights.
